This louver was designed after a louvered hood and fenders that I had bought that were louvered in 1961. They had a beautiful shape to them and I always received a lot of compliments on how good they looked. I lost that hood and fenders in a fire... and vowed to always replace it, reproduce those louvers. I saved the burnt hood and we reverse-engineered the louver die from those louvers. It took a couple of tries but the third time was the charm!

They're high-quality tool steel that has been tool hardened in a heat treat oven.
They have adjustable spacing from 1/4" to 1/2" between louvers. You won't find this anywhere else.
They have a back form that helps form the Louver so it's perfect every time.
They have a centerline clearly scribed on the front of the die.
When I got my first press the dies would go too far and rip the corners of the louvers... or they would be uneven and look wonky. The dies we created make punching louvers fun!
Upper and Lower die are included along with an interface plate to bolt to your Mitler Bro's press or a press of your own design. The plate is similar to the one included with the Mitler Bro's press only we changed the bolt location which was required to get the adjustable spacing.
