Our latest die is this 2 1/4” wide clamshell die, designed to be the perfect size for early hot rod hoods and hood sides.
Each die is crafted from A2 tool steel with a Rockwell hardness of 61-63. The lower forms are made from 4140 pre-hardened steel and are clearance for 18-gauge metal. If you’re working with a different gauge, email us, and we can custom-clearance the form to suit your needs.
Please note that our dies are made to order, so allow 2-3 weeks for fulfillment.
